A proprietary drift engine that gives each oscillator its own independent LFO, spaced using golden-ratio frequency offsets. This non-repeating motion is the key ingredient behind SuperClassic's magical, analog-style width and warmth.
One sweep of the SuperDrift knob raises classic detune and the depth of the drift LFOs together, while the SD.LFO switch steps the modulation through finer stages — from subtle shimmer to full-blown movement.

A dedicated sub oscillator for instant low-end weight — the foundation for even more massive leads and basses than before. The Shape control takes it from a round sine through triangle and saw to a hard-edged square.

SuperClassic is a focused but powerful synthesizer plugin and while inspired by the legendary Supersaw oscillator, it has some special features that are unique to SuperClassic. It lets you stack up to four Supersaw oscillators in unison for huge, larger-than-life stereo leads and pads. One of the key elements in original supersaw was the keytracking high-pass filter - SuperClassic allow you to adjust that filter now for more precise control. One of the key features however is the SuperDrift algorithm that modulates each osillators' phase separately for maximum width and warmth.
SuperClassic is a plugin, not a standalone app. To use it, you'll need music production software (a DAW, or Digital Audio Workstation) such as Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, or similar. Once installed, SuperClassic will show up in your DAW's instrument list just like any other virtual instrument.
SuperClassic faithfully implements many of the original design choices — including a keytracking high-pass filter on each oscillator, a precisely captured detune profile, and rigorously A/B-modeled amp and filter envelopes. The filter itself has been carefully recreated, and with oversampling its resonance character truly comes alive. On top of that, our SuperDrift micro-phase offsets keep the saws pure and vibrant, making it feel almost like this is how the supersaw was always meant to sound.
SuperDrift builds on standard detune. Instead of only shifting oscillators in fixed increments, it adds natural, evolving micro-phase variations. The result is a wider, more organic Supersaw that feels alive — much like the subtle instability of true analog hardware.
Currently, SuperClassic is available as VST3 (Windows & macOS) and AudioUnit (macOS). Support for CLAP and AAX is in development.

Yes! While it focuses on saw-based sounds and doesn't include a full modulation matrix, you'll still find a surprising variety of presets covering leads, pads, basses, and more.
SuperClassic is highly optimized and runs smoothly on modern systems. However, CPU usage scales with polyphony and oscillator count — for example, a pad using 4 stacked Supersaws and 32 voices can be demanding even on powerful machines. When you purchase SuperClassic, you'll receive a license key that can be activated on up to 3 computers you personally own. Offline licenses are also supported. License management, downloads, and key details are available through the client portal at hahmodsp.com. Once you have purchased a license, you can access the client portal by clicking at the top right corner of the site (user icon). You need to set up a password before the first login.
